Information Firn Stores On Your Device

Firn can store the information you choose to enter in the app, including symptom logs, period logs, medication and supplement journal entries, daily notes, profile preferences, saved symptoms, saved medications, and generated export or report files.

This information is stored locally on your device using Apple platform storage. Firn does not operate a backend service for syncing, accounts, analytics, advertising, telemetry, or crash reporting.

Information Firn Does Not Collect

Firn does not collect personal data from the app. Firn does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking SDKs, remote crash reporting SDKs, or account infrastructure. Firn does not sell data.

Because journal data is processed on device and is not sent to Firn, Firn does not collect app data for App Store privacy details while this offline architecture remains unchanged.

Backups, Exports, And Sharing

Your device or Apple account settings may include Firn data in an iPhone backup. Those backups are controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by Firn.

If you export data, generate a GP report, attach screenshots, or share files from Firn, you control where that exported information goes. Once you share it outside Firn, the recipient service or person may process it under their own policies.

Support Requests

If you email support, the email address you use, the contents of your message, and any attachments you choose to send will be received so the support request can be answered. Do not include sensitive journal details unless you want them included in the support email.

Support email is handled outside the Firn app. The app itself does not automatically send support diagnostics, logs, analytics, or journal data.

TestFlight And App Store Feedback

If you submit TestFlight feedback, crash reports, screenshots, or App Store reviews through Apple, Apple may provide that feedback to the developer. This is separate from Firn's in-app data storage.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete logged journal data inside Firn from Settings. You can also remove Firn from your device to delete the app and its local data from that device. Device backups may retain older copies according to your Apple backup settings.

Children

Firn is not directed to children. It is intended as a personal journal for people tracking their own symptoms and related context.

Changes

If Firn's privacy model changes, this policy will be updated before those changes are represented in App Store privacy details.
